Α. By car
1. Poros - Methana (Loutropolis of Methana 22,1 klm - 30 minutes)
From Galata and following the road toward Athens, at the location Agioi Anargiroi, at the intersection turn right to reach Methana, a coastal spa town with its volcano and spring water sourches.
Methana is a touristic area ideal for family and alternative tourism. Is a romantic destination where you will see the simplicity and the connection with nature. It is ideal for those who seek true relaxation and desire to explore hiking trails and archaeological findings.
2. Poros - Vathi (Vathi Methanon 22,2 klm - 30 minutes)
From Galata and following the road toward Athens, at the location Agioi Anargiroi, at the intersection turn right to reach Methana. After taktikoupoli town, at the left there is a coastal road that leads to the fishing village of Vathi with fish taverns and a beautiful beach to swim.
Vathi is a small fishing village at the bay of Epidavros. It is an ideal destination for relaxing vacations, an oasis of tranquility just under the volcano of Methana.
3. Poros - Nafplio (Nafplio 71,6 klm - 1 hour and 15 minutes)
From Galata and following the road toward Athens, after the old Epidavros we turn left and reach Nafplio, one of the most picturesque towns of Greece, which has been characterised as a traditional settlement.
4. Poros - Mycanae (Mycanae 89,3 klm - 1 hour and 30 minutes)
From Galata and following the road toward Athens, after the old Epidavros we turn left and reach Nafplio. We follow the sign which writes Mycanae and you reach one of the most historical settlements of Greece. Mycanae was an ancient town of Argolida close to the mountain Tritos and opposite the Argolic Gulf.
5. Poros - Ancient theatre of Epidavros and Epidavros beach
( Ancient theatre of Epidavros 49,2 klm - 55 minutes and Epidavros beach 46 klm - 45 minutes)
From Galata and following the road toward Athens, after the old Epidavros we continue left towards Ligourio and then we reach the ancient theater of Epidavros where during the summer months they have gor theatrical plays. After the old Epidavros we turn right and we reach the Epidavros beach.
6. Poros - Metochi - Hydra (Metochi-Hydra 25,1 klm - 40 minutes)
45 minutes from Galata, following the coastal road we reach Metochi, a coastal area opposite of Hydra island, where there is a secure parking for your car.
7. Poros - Hermioni (Hermioni 40 klm - 55 minutes)
55 minutes from Galata, following the coastal road we reach Metochi and we continue to the coastal location of Hermioni.
8. Poros - Kosta - Spetses (Kosta-Spetses 59,5 klm - 1 hour and 15' minutes)
1 hour and 55 minutes from Galata, following the coastal road we reach Metochi and we continue to the coastal location of Hermioni. Then we continue to Kosta, opposite to Spetses island and with a secure parking to leave your car.
9. Poros - Porto Cheli (Porto Cheli 55 klm - 1 hour and 10' minutes)
1 hour and 55 minutes from Galata, following the coastal road we reach Metochi and Hermioni and then the picturesque Porto Cheli.
B. By flying dolphin or flying cat
You can go by flying dolphin or flying cat from Poros to Hydra, Spetses island, Porto Cheli and Hermioni and so Poros island is offered for daily trips to those islands.
C. By ferry boat
You can go by ferry boat from Poros island to Aegina island and so Poros island is offered for daily trips to this island. If you go for more than one day then you can go to the close island of Agistri.
